Second Chance Training Center has had such a great impact on my life. It was an opportunity for me to develop in character by applying the Biblical teachings to my everyday life. I also had many breakthroughs that helped me prepare for the serving opportunities the Lord had for me and continues to have for me. Lately the Lord has been teaching me more about faith which has prepared me to operate in faith by going to Bible school which is in another state! I would have never thought that I would be going to a Bible institute, especially because of where I came from. But you should never let your past dictate your future. II Corinthians 5:17 says that we are a new creation. I want to thank the Steiners and staff for the love of God they’ve shown us and how much they’ve poured out into our lives and believed in us. They have been such a great inspiration to me and many others. I pray that many will receive the love of God and will surrender their lives under the lordship of Jesus Christ!

I am proud to offer my support
of the Second Chance Training
Center in their work with
ex-offenders. The Polk County
Sheriff's Office collaborates with
Second Chance in seeking to
reduce the recidivism rate in
Polk County. The Second Chance Program will
assist women coming out of incarceration or crisis
situations. Their services to just-released individuals
include transitional living, employability skills and job
placement, which are vital to ensure they not return to prison.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office fully endorses and
supports the Second Chance Program.
